GFR more than 90%, creatinine level less than 133umol/L belongs to stage 1 of CKD
GFR more than 60%, less than 89%; creatinine level more than 133uml/L, less than 177uml/L belongs to stage 2 of CKD
GFR more than 30%, less than 59%; creatinine level more than 186umol/L , less than 442uml/L belongs to stage 3 of CKD
GFR more than 15%, less than 29%; creatinine level more than 443uml/L , less than 707uml/L belongs to stage 4 of CKD
GFR less than 14%; creatinine level more than 708uml/L belongs to stage 5 of CKD which is also known as the End Stage Renal Disease, that is Uremia, it is a life-threatening disease.
What is GFR ?
GFR also known as the glomerular filtration rate, it is one of the renal function indexes, normal glomerular filtration rate in adults with an average of 125ml / min. Usually, it is more accurate than creatinine in reflect the renal function.
What is creatinine ?
It is a kind of waste produced by muscle, under normal condition, it can be removed by kidney. But after the kidney damaged, it will build up in the body and make further damage to the renal.
